  • Back on the road, African adventures soon to come

Posted on May 4th, 2010 Nicolas No comments

    Hello all,

Just a quick note to let you know I got my truck back yesterday, and I will be back driving tomorrow in the morning. Thanks to everyone for your support while I was waiting.

The next destination is Saint Lucia, on the northeast coast of South Africa.

I will keep you all posted as soon as I have fresh pictures and stories.

    Nick

    Hey Nick,
Glad to hear you got your truck!! Take your time and enjoy the coast at St. Lucia. You MUST go just up the coast….to Sodwana Bay!! I was there just last month and it is probably the most beautiful coast I have ever seen. If you need somewhere to camp look up the Mseni Lodge at Sodwana bay. At the very least stop there for lunch and have the fish curry and walk down to their beach. AMAZING! It is run by Elma, phone=035-5710284. Good luck! I love reading your blog, and would be tempted to travel with you across the middle east, except you will be there in the VERY hot months! ha ha

  2. I am posting my comment here for the count. I follow the journey a several days out of the week. Like many followers, it is my daily escape from my cubicle as well. Glad to hear you got the truck! Stay safe on the rest of your journey. I am looking forward to more pictures and stories.

  17. Nick,

Your journey is fascinating and I find myself checking your blog reguarly. I am amazed at how brave you are. You seem to be a very patient man with many collegues and friends who want to see you succeed and that says a lot about a person. I’m all the way in Chicago but wish there was something I could do other than give support! You show everyone who comes to this blog that life is so much bigger than the little things most people stress about. There is a whole world out there…

Keep on going, don’t give up! I am inspired by your journey!
